Lenovo Legion Y700 2026 Leak Reveals Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 165Hz Display, And 9,000mAh Battery

A recent leak has unveiled the key specifications of the upcoming Lenovo Legion Y700 2026revealing that the next-generation gaming tablet will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The information comes from reputable tipster Digital Chat Stationwho also shared additional details about the device’s design and hardware ahead of its expected launch in the first half of 2026.

According to the leak, the Lenovo Legion Y700 2026 will feature an 8.8-inch LCD display with a 3K resolution and an impressive 165Hz refresh rateensuring smooth and detailed visuals for gaming and multimedia. The tablet is expected to incorporate a vapour chamber cooling system with a large heat dissipation area, designed to maintain optimal performance during extended use and heavy workloads.

Under the hood, the tablet will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset, which also powers the newly released Honor Magic Pad 3 Prothe world’s first tablet to use this processor. This positions Lenovo’s upcoming Legion model as a strong competitor in the premium gaming tablet market.

The leak further indicates that the Legion Y700 2026 will house a 9,000mAh batterypromising extended battery life suitable for long gaming sessions or media consumption. However, details about its fast charging capabilities have not yet been disclosed.

The new model will serve as the successor to the Lenovo Legion Y700 (Gen 4)which was launched in May 2025 in China. The previous generation featured an 8.8-inch 3K LCD display (1904 x 3040 pixels) with the same 165Hz refresh ratepowered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipsetup to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAMand 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. It also came with a 7,600mAh batterysupporting 68W wired and bypass chargingand featured dual JBL-tuned speakers along with two USB-C ports for charging, data transfer, and audio.

Camera specifications on the previous model included an 8-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel rear sensor with LED flash. While details about the cameras on the 2026 version remain unknown, Lenovo is expected to build upon the strengths of its predecessor with hardware and performance upgrades tailored to gamers.
