The Saic H5 represents Huawei’s most affordable SUV to datedeveloped in partnership with SAIC. Officially unveiled on September, it enters the Chinese market starting at approximately $20,400 USD and offers a blend of competitive pricing, advanced technology, and impressive driving range.

Dimensions and Cargo


Built on SAIC’s Roewe ES39 platform, the H5 measures 188 inches long, 75 inches wide, and 65 inches highwith a 112-inch wheelbase. Cargo space is generous, offering a 124-liter (4.4 cu ft) front trunk and a 601-liter (21.2 cu ft) rear trunksuitable for luggage or camping gear.
Powertrain

EREV versions combine a 1.5L 72 kW (97 hp) gasoline engine—used only as a generator—with a 150 kW (201 hp) electric motor and a 32.6 kWh battery. This setup allows 146 miles of pure electric rangeextended to 845 miles with the range extender.
BEV models feature electric motors of 150 kW (201 hp) or 180 kW (241 hp)paired with 64.6 kWh or 80 kWh batteries, delivering ranges between 326 and 407 milesdepending on configuration.
Intelligent Driving Technology

Top versions include Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 4.0 systemequipped with advanced hardware:
- 192-line rooftop LiDAR
- 3 millimeter-wave 4D radars
- 12 ultrasonic sensors
- 11 high-definition cameras
These enable features such as end-to-end navigation assistance and collision prevention in all directions, positioning it as a leader in its class.
Interior and Comfort
