If you are on the market for a basic phone, we have great news; HMD Global has expanded its classic mobile lineup with the announcement of four new Nokia feature phones: the Nokia 200 4G, Nokia 210 4G, Nokia 215 4G (2nd Edition), and Nokia 235 4G (2nd Edition). The key differentiator for these modern devices is the inclusion of an on-device AI assistantwhich users can access directly via a dedicated AI button located on the directional pad.
The artificial intelligence functionalities are powered by Sikey AI. This integration allows users to execute basic voice queries and control various device functions hands-free. According to HMD’s official specificationsthe AI assistant is free of charge for the first 180 days of ownership. Following this trial period, a paid subscription is required to maintain access. Notably, the subscription must be purchased through a separate, secondary smartphone.

Nokia 210 4G, Nokia 215 4G 2nd Edition and Nokia 235 4G 2nd Edition
While sharing a similar core architecture, the four models vary slightly in their hardware and display configurations:
- Nokia 210 4G & 215 4G: Equipped with a compact 2.4-inch QVGA display.
- Nokia 215 4G & 235 4G: Feature a larger 2.8-inch IPS panel maintaining the same QVGA resolution.
For video communication, all four devices utilize integrated VGA cameras to support Xpress chat video calling. Photography capabilities differ across the range; the Nokia 210 4G and Nokia 235 4G include rear-facing cameras, with the 235 4G boasting a 2-megapixel sensor.
Every handset in this new lineup runs on the S30+ operating system and is powered by a 1,450 mAh removable battery. Standard modern connectivity and multimedia features are included across all variants, such as Bluetooth 5.0a 3.5mm headphone jackintegrated FM Radioand a standard USB-C charging port. At the time of announcement, HMD Global had not yet released official pricing details or regional market availability for the new models.
